Hello All,
Ok so I saw a really good acoustic cover of this song by Emma Deigman and her very good
unkown guiatrist friend – All credit goes to him/them and Lady Gaga
– sorry lady gaga but I dont even know your original version, but heres to ya anyway : |
The song is in C#m if you want to add a solo – All chords therefore on this one are from
E major family.
Again this is a transcription of the Emma Deigman Cover, the link is:
Every thing is bar chords except the E in the Verse and chorus
Intro:
C#m (played at the 9th Fret), E (at the 7th fret), B (at the 7th Fret), F#m (at the 9th
X 2
Verse: (Power chord note emphasis) these are now played: C#m at the 4th fret, E is open,
at the 2nd Fret and F#m at the 2nd fret also.
Bridge:
The A is played at the 7th Fret with the A string open with an added A for voicing and
slight variation with a G# to give the right effect like this:
A: X 0 7 9 10 X then slide your pinky down to the 9th fret on the B string like so: X 0
9 9 X, he does this then for two half counts then goes back up to the 10
again and slides it back down to the 9 on the last strum or so before going to the C#m.
The C#m (at eth 4th Fret) is played only once then is slid into from the B power chord
and then the C#m is then slid to an E. Then your back
to the A as described above.
C#m B —> C#m B —-> C#m –>E
I love this record baby, but I can’t see straight anymore
C#m B —> C#m B —-> C#m
I can’t remember but it’s alright, alright
Chorus: Play slightly fuller chords with more of some half strumming in between.
C#m E B F#m (Full chord)
Just dance, gonna be okay da doo doo doo
Just
Just
– Bre
Dance, dance, dance, Ju-just dance
Bridge
C#m B —> C#m B —-> C#m –>E
I love this record baby, but I can’t see straight anymore
C#m B —> C#m B —-> C#m
I can’t remember but it’s alright, alright
Chorus:
Just
Just

Dance, dance, dance, Ju-just dance
Repeat the chorus Again and finish on the F#m and let the vocal resolve to the C#m.
Thats It – cracking version in my opinion and cant Emma Deigman sing!! Holy crap.
